We at Angel Skin Products believe every plant has a natural purpose, and Prickly Pear Seed Oil is a good example. The Plant associated with this oil originates from Morocco. We believe this to be a great oil for gently toning and tightening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, by promoting collagen for skincare, known as 'Natural Collagen Synthesis. The essential oil that is derived from the Prickly Pear cactus (which is extremely rich in vitamin E) is brimming with antioxidants. Another excellent oil in this formula is Grapeseed Oil, this lightweight oil has powerful antioxidants, minerals, vitamins & fatty acids, this helps promote healthy, balanced skin and makes the perfect skincare for sensitive skin.

Application
We recommend that our Facial Oils are applied at night before bed, apply to a cleansed/clean face for maximum benefit, allowing the oil to do its work through the night while you sleep. We do not recommend that you apply through the day under make up, as the oil will lift your make up and cause it to slide. We recommend that a patch test is carried out 24 hrs before use, this being either behind your ear or on the back of your wrist, to eliminate any unlikely allergic reactions.

I always believed that each plant had its own individual purpose and could be used to achieve various benefits. After a visit to a spice plantation in Goa, India - I was curious how plants, spices and fruits could be applied externally to the skin in the form of essentials oils.
In my late 20’s I was introduced to Organic Oils, and after being amazed by their effect on my skin after a relatively short period of time, over the next 10 years I researched and refined numerous combinations of essential Oils to suit initially my own skin type, then later various other types of skin for friends and family. I found that certain Oils, when combined in specific quantities, worked effectively together, with their properties complimenting one another - and when used daily as part of an effective daily skincare for sensitive skin routine, this resulted in my skin problems subsiding, and eventually over time I had the complexion I only dreamed of as a teenager.
The inclusion of relatively expensive, lesser-known essential Oils within my products, well known throughout history for their traditional healing, anti-ageing, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties – (like Grapeseed or Prickly Pear Seed Oil for example), I am in no doubt are instrumental in the effectiveness of my products. Organic Facial Oils also have smaller molecular molecules than artificial products, helping to penetrate and protect the skin far deeper and promote healthy skin regeneration.
